Kenchikai Kendo Club is a kendo club, not a data business. This page says what we collect, what it is for, and how to make it stop.

What we collect

When you create an account, register for an event, or sign a waiver, we collect what those things need: your name, email address, phone number, birth date, rank, and dojo affiliation. Waivers and federation registrations keep the details they were signed with. Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers.

What it is used for

Running the club: event registrations, waivers, dues, the club shop, and reaching you about things you are part of — a practice cancellation, a schedule change, a receipt. If you opt in to text messages, your phone number is used to send you those club updates.

What we never do

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information — including your phone number and text-messaging consent — with third parties for their marketing.

Opting out

Text messages: reply STOP to any club text, or turn texts off in your account settings. Announcement emails: use the unsubscribe link in any announcement, or your account settings. Emails about your own registrations and payments continue while you have an account — they are how the club reaches you about things you are part of.
